Meet the Founder
Douglas E. Ott, MD, MBA, physician, scientist, businessman, and artist is widely recognized as an expert
in his field with over 40 publications, five book chapters, 38 patents, and has received numerous
international awards for prize papers and research. He embarked on a journey to reinstate clarity
and sincerity to writing by emerging with a system to help authors, reviewers, and editors of manuscripts
and book chapters produce and identify quality and credible pieces.
Dr. Ott received his MD from the University of Louisville and his MBA from Mercer University.
He has served as Adjunct Professor in Biomedical Engineering and Adjunct Professor of Business
and Economics at Mercer University. Dr. Ott has been an invited speaker over 230 times as a subject
matter expert in topics related to his Biomedical engineering expertise.
He is founder of four medical companies: LEXION Medical, LLC, Hemerus Medical, LLC, CoAg Medical, LLC, and Georgia BioMedical, Inc.
